The band was formed in December 92 by Nick Williams & Andy Cocozza. They made a demo in March 93 and sent it into Tom Wilsons 'Steppin' Out' show on Radio Forth . A record deal quickly followed and 'Power People' was released in July 93 on Steppin Out Records. TRS were quickly becoming one of the hottest acts north of the border and played various gigs throughout Scotland, Ireland and the north of England quickly establishing themselves as an unbeatable crowd pulling act.

October 93 saw TRS play their biggest gig at that time (6000+)Rezerection. This put TRS firmly on the map and secured their place as one of Scotlands top 4 dance acts next to TTF, Q-TEX and Ultrasonic. TRS were then snapped up by M8 Magazines record label 'Massive Respect Records' and released their next EP, 'Soap On A Rope'. TRS went from strength to strength winning Radio Clyde & Radio Fourth's 'Song & Band of the Year' awards.
